This past fall semester, I taught two sections of G261 – Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) as an adjunct instructor at York Collège of Pennsylvania. Students in the classes worked on semester projects individually and in groups. The projects are organized into 5 categories:
- WellSpan Public Health Issues
- Engineering and Science
- Intelligence Analysis and Foreign Relations
- Social Science
- Technology and Computer Science
The students had three choices of project deliverable formats:
- ArcGIS Story Map https://www.esri.com/en-us/arcgis/products/arcgis-storymaps/overview
- ArcGIS Presentation Poster
- Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation
